Walking down to the shop this week I saw crocuses, primroses and daffodils already in bloom. So it must be spring! With that in mind here are some spring greens and yellows to get you inspired.
I am gradually expanding the scope of the shop's website so you will find lots of new fabrics and haberdashery online.
There is now a Ribbons and Tapes section here alongside all the Coton a Broder embroidery threads here
I've also added Fat Quarter Packs - hand picked co-ordinating fabrics. Each pack is made up of 4 different fat quarters. You can see a selection below and find the whole collection online here
Top Left: Quartet Top Right: Co-ordinating Blues
Bottom Left: Palazzo Bottom Right: Olives and Oranges
Unfortunately some schedule deliveries are up to 12 weeks late, but that does mean that three or four collections from Moda which were due at the end of last year should be arriving in the next few weeks. They will be on our website as soon as we get them, so watch this space for Grateful, Cider, Sanctuary and Moody Bloom.
Night Jungle by Dashwood:
One small set of exciting fabrics that we have in is Night Jungle by Dashwood, shown above with a couple of bold blenders. This range is £13 per metre. These are available online.
Bestseller - Makower Linen Texture:
It's not linen but standard cotton printed to look like linen. It comes in 60 different shades shown below with 5 new ones scheduled to arrive this month. https://www.countrythreadspatchwork.co.uk/linen-texture-makower
Looking for a unisex child's quilt?
This space panel is great fun with aliens, spacewomen and flying saucers. I have added borders to the sides to make this small quilt/wallhanging. You can find the panel (£8) and co-ordinating fabric here or phone the shop for more details.
Although the shop isn't open you can browse online, or contact us at bathpatchwork@aol.com or on 01225 446385 / 07813 296191. We are happy to discuss your lockdown projects and give bespoke, tailored advice. We can't wait to see you in the shop as soon as lockdown is over!
